Participant Information

Our programmes include the following:

Pre-arrival placement information
Airport transfer from Cape Town International Airport upon arrival
Comprehensive arrival information and safety orientation
All accommodation throughout programme placement period
Lunch during orientation
All meals at the host family for the full duration of your project placement
Transfers to the project
Transfer to the Airport on completion of programme (unless your programme stipulates differently)
Free WIFI during the orientation period (not necessarily at host families though)
Backup support from Ama Africa Experiences for the full duration of the placement

Travel insurance (this is compulsory on all of our programmes and we require proof)
Return flights to and from South Africa
Visa costs
All items of a personal nature, such as curios, telephone, internet, extra food and drinks
Optional excursions (which we can book for you)
