3 Day Western Cape Wow Tour

Discover the wow-ness of the Western Cape, along country routes between Cape Point & Cape Agulhas.  Explore the southern tip of Africa to experience the creative vibes of informal settlements, the grandeur of wine estates, diverse cultures and abundant coastal wildlife

Day 1 – Cape Town to Stellenbosch

Wander around craft markets in Hout Bay or chill at the beach on this working harbour, enjoy a boat cruise (optional) to a large seal colony and drive along the spectacular Chapmans Peak Drive and to the Cape of Good Hope reserve where you will observe wildlife in a fynbos landscape and onto Cape Point, Africa’s most south-westerly point, after this we will head to Stellenbosch for an overnight stop.

Day 2 – Stellenbosch to Cape Agulhas

We start the day with a guided walking tour in Kayamandi Township and sample wine and cheese as well as a port and chocolate tasting, in the Winelands. After a lunch stop in the beautiful Franshhoek valley we travel to the most southerly tip of Africa, Cape Agulhus and overnight in this beautiful fishing village.

Day 3 – Hermanus back to Cape Town

Choose how you want to spend your morning, either relaxing in the quaint town of Hermanus, or go shark cage diving in Gansbaai (optional). In the afternoon we head back via the scenic route Clarence drive along the False Bay coastline and arrive back into Cape Town in the late afternoon.

4 Day Garden Route Adventure

The Garden Route is a piece of paradise along the south-eastern coast of South Africa.  Set your sense of adventure free by exploring the unspoilt beaches up to Jeffreys bay – a surfing hotspot, forest wonderlands and abundant wildlife in this untamed wilderness.

Day 1 – Cape Town to Oudtshoorn

Drive along South Africa’s famous country road Route 62, you’ll capture the beauty of high mountains, twisting passes, rugged Karoo plains, vineyards and orchards. Follow passageways that lead to vast halls deep underground at the Cango Caves and overnight in Oudtshoorn.

Day 2 – Oudtshoorn to Jeffreys Bay

Elephant walk & ride (Optional with extra cost). Fall in love with these giant and lovable creatures. Learn about the elephants’ background, behaviour and character as you touch, feed, walk hand-in-trunk and even ride on its back. Learn more about the ostrich and the brave gets a chance to ride on an ostrich’s back (weight limits) and spend time in paradise as we explore the Tsitsikamma National Park, with dramatic coastal and forest landscapes. Walk along forest trails to a suspension bridge. We overnight here.

Day 3- Jeffreys Bay to Wilderness area

Beach time and shopping in Jeffreys Bay or go for an early morning surf or just chill out.  The backpackers hire out surf boards and wetsuits at extra cost.  We will stop at the surf factory shops for excellent deals on branded clothing. Bloukrans bungy jump (Optional with extra costs) Face your fear and experience the world’s highest bungy jump. We then head to Knysna, nestled between forested mountains, sea and curving around a big lagoon, visit The Heads, where the sea crashes through two massive sandstone cliffs.

We overnight in the wilderness area and head down to the beach, swim in the Indian Ocean & take a walk along the beach.

Day 4 – Wilderness area return to Cape Town

Canoe along the Wilderness Lagoon for a true nature encounter. Experience a 4×4 game drive – (Optional with extra cost), search for Africa’s Big5* animals from an open 4×4 vehicle in a malaria-free, private game reserve. (*unlikely to see leopards) and travel back to reach Cape Town area by nightfall
